Visiting a Masai village near the Tarangire National park in Tanzania I made the acquaintance of Sophia. Sophia lives in a small hut together with her Mother, her Grandmother, her little sister, and their many dogs. Although their life may seem humble, Sophia taught me, that you can be happy with what you got, no matter how little it may be. Sophia is lucky to be able to go to school in a nearby town, at least until she is married, which can be at a very young age in Masai-culture.
