    Went into the forest to see what was new that I could find, and I came upon the pictured female downy woodpecker. What attracted me to the forest was something pecking on wood. I took 'my shot' looking way up on an old tree and the Downy Woodpecker concentrating on an itch. What I like about my photo is the Downy twisted neck trying to get at that itch. I took the picture with my Canon Rebel T7i DSLR camera on this not so sunny day.
