    Edit Photo Details The Longest Shopping Street in the World   #rain #reflections #dusk #bluehour #cartaillights #magazinestreet #storelights #shoppingstreet
New Orleans, no, make that the entire Gulf Coast, is a wet place. Even when the skies don't open up, we are preparing for rain. Rescheduling things for rain. Learning how to learn to work in the rain. We do this because our rainfall doesn't last that long. Sometimes an hour of forty-five minutes. You can get gentle rainfall, or sideways rain that dumps an inch or two of rain in certain neighborhoods. Shoes are a big consideration. Me? Flip-flops, Crocs or running shoes. They dry out quickly.
