This capture of Black Sand Beach was taken on my way to Hana in Maui, Hawaii. USA. This place is listed as Black Sand Beach but there is definitely more black lava rocks than sand in the beach. It features several black rock formations, an arch, blowhole and fresh water cave. I captured this shot with my cell phone because at that time I didn't have my DSLR. My point &shoot camera battery was exhausted. I was taking photos of the waves crashing on the black rocks at the edge of a farmland.
