I find images of people in homeless situations a very intrusive and almost unnecessary form of photography. In this case, this man was in the middle of a very popular and busy overpass on the LV strip. As I do with any person I photograph I talk to them first, get their approval and pay them for their time. This is a single image, no others taken. I am always struck by the dichotomy of wealth and loss in our city. Trapped or caged by the money one way or the other and anyone could be next.
