Once a year, the famous horse race takes place in the city center of Siena in Tuscany (Italy) on the market square. Clay is applied on the "racing track", horses are assigned to the different neighborhoods through a lottery and their jockeys ride them without a saddle. For two days, horses are tried out by jockeys and celebrated by citizens before the final race takes place. I love the fast motion of the horses, the bright colors of the horses and the crowd watching in the background.
