This elephant has been born approximately two hours before we arrived at the scene in the Maasai Mara. It was still pink behind its ears, still was a bit unsure walking and it was so cute to watch it taking its first steps, taking the first mud bath (with lots of difficulty standing and not slipping in the mud), nursing and getting to know its environment. I love the blur of the motion in this image but the sharpness of the eye and ears as well as the water on it that its mum sprayed on it.
