    This is our new rescue cat that we adopted. She was found outside emaciated and taken to a shelter. The shelter had no windows. She lived there for over 3 months. When she came to live with us she hid under the bed for over a week. This picture is not only the first light of the morning, but it was her first time out of hiding, basking in it. Her first sunlight in over three months.
