Up close and personal
This green Chrysanthemum was just a tiny bud about 1 inch wide. When you get in real close with a super macro lens, the pollen and patterns create some mystery of what it is holding inside. I used a ring flash and placed the tiny bud on a light table to maximize the fine details. Stay tuned for an open version soon!
I like Your Shot photographer Sukanya De's comment: "What a fascinating perspective into the heart of the Chrysanthemum!! I love how your point of view takes us to the buds yet to unfold their mystery. The water droplets shimmering in the light add much to the texture! As I look deeper I can feel a strange optical illusion pulling me into the depth of the green flamboyance. Great way to follow light inside the macro universe!!"
