    Reported by:

Blackpool was once the ultimate pleasure resort in Britain, popular for both day trips from the nearby cities, and for annual holidays. However, all that changed with cheap flights to Spain and other overseas hot places, so seaside resorts went into decline. Blackpool now has an air of being past its prime, especially if you get away from all the glitter on the sea front. The rides and attractions still exist though, like this funfair on Central Pier, where young people wait for their turn.
