When is it that we stop playing? Do we ever have to? "play" was captured on a beach in San Fransisco. Upon finding a large piece of driftwood in the sand, my friend labored to steady it in the sand, conquered climbing to the top, victorious and joyful like a king - then toppled over. Caught in flight, I wondered why it is that people seem to lose their childish curiosity and their desire to play. Then, I felt grateful to be surrounded by those who hold onto it. We can play - who says we can't?
