    Edit Photo Details Ancient Sikyon
Just 5 kilometers from Kiato, on a plateau-balcony viewing the northeast of Corinthia, at the end of the 4th century BC, Sikion was founded by Dimitrios the Poliorkitis. One of the most important cities of antiquity, a great artistic center, lies in front of us. The ground is fresh from the excavations, the wildflowers spring up among the Hellenistic columns and our gaze rests on the Corinthian Gulf and reaches up to the mountain of Muses, Helicon.
