Edit Photo Details Where Did the Water Lilies Go?   #nature #photojournalism #earth_day_2019 #plastics_pollution #a_pollution_problem
In an effort to educate the public on EarthDay 2019, the waterlilies were removed, and were replaced by 1000's of plastic containers at Brookside Gardens . One million plastic bottles are purchased every minute of every day, all around the world. Part of this problem could be solved by using tap water in reusable bottles. 38 Billion bottles end up in landfills each year. Today, I went to photograph water lilies and Tulips, but ended up capturing images of plastics pollution!
