This long exposure photo was taken during the first hours of a clear January morning on the peninsula of stokness, Iceland. We waited three nights in a row for storms to clear so we could capture the northern lights in all their beauty. When the clouds cleared to reveal the stars we walked out against the crashing tide into the ocean to capture not only this incredible mountain range but also its reflection.
