This was shot while walking about El Khorbat Oujdid which is a ksar near the Moroccan town of Tinejdad. This ksar was built in 1860 and is still inhabited. The ksar was completely built with rammed earth, it is walled and has a number of towers. I was taking photos to show the almost claustrophobic feeling of the ksar when a women traveling through on her bike passed by and demonstrated perfectly the more modern ways that the locals now travel through this aincent place.
