    Union Station (St. Louis) - Architectural Detail (Grand Hall) - B&W. The Grand Hall, with its sweeping archways, fresco and gold leaf detailing, mosaics and art glass windows, is the crown jewel of Union Station. The adjacent station is soon to be the new home of the St. Louis Aquarium. Scheduled to open in late 2019. The first train pulled into Union Station on September 2, 1894.
