We go here often as we drive through Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, looking for bison and waterfowl and birds of prey. Most times there is enough of a breeze to ripple the water, but on this afternoon it was unusually calm and peaceful. I love that photography can be a peaceful interlude to life's sometimes hectic ways.
