I get to spend one afternoon per week with my buddy Milt. Every spring and summer, I am fortunate to help Milt monitor the Blue Bird boxes at Albany Country Club in Voorheesville, NY. Besides counting eggs, chasing out preditors and banding the babies, Milt and I share a special bond that nature has brought together. We both love all of the beauty that Albany Country Club provides. Fir trees with purple pine cones, hidden raspberry thickets and countless critters abound. Home away from home
