    Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica, is one of the most active on the planet and is considered sacred. The last major eruption occurred in 2006. We managed to witness the release of gas from the crater of a volcano. This is a small white cloud. It is hanging above the top of Arenal in the photo. I was happy to feel the breath of an active volcano!
