The old things we create in the world leave us with a different feeling than the old things nature creates. In some cases they offer up a sense of immortality. The things we make will outlive us and go on, but I think I am often reminded of the fragility of life in seeing the things we create degrade with time in much the way we do. Its good to be reminded to live our lives in the most fulfilling way possible, enjoying the scenery around us.
