    Lake Huron has sunk many ships, but it can also be as calm as it is here. I looked out my window early one evening and couldn't see the horizon. I grabbed my camera and jumped into my kayak to go enjoy the peaceful water. It was like glass... a bit dark as day was turning to night. I was able to get a shot of these female merganser ducks as they swam away from me.
