    Photographed on a black water dive, off the coast of Southeast Florida. This is a male baby Blanket octopus larva, Tremoctopus violaceus. I've been doing these dives for 4 years now, and this is my first one. What is amazing is that the same critters are also being photographed in the Philippines at the same time of year- half way around the globe. Size is less than an inch long.
