    Reported by:

An opportunistic Black Kite hunts rodents and insects by diving amongst grassfire flames in regional Australia. Controlled burns have been conducted by Indigenous Australians for thousands of years, as a way of regenerating native grasslands for the following year. Firebirds flock to the flames for a feeding frenzy and demonstrate a wonderful example of symbiosis between man and bird.
