I was born and raised in the city. My coyote sightings were at the zoo. I was startled and a bit afraid to see coyotes in the area where I take my morning walk. I have seen water levels go up and down, ice form on the rocks and plants grow through cracks in the concrete. This was not someone walking a dog. It was a coyote in the city. I was fearful, but I wanted to get a shot.and I can't run fast. After watching it watch me, I found out it could have easily gotten closer to me with 1 quick jump.
