Edit Photo Details Tiny American Goldfinch   #bird #yellow #branch
I felt lucky. Usually when I see and hear these birds, they fly away and hide in a tree or a bush. This day was different. This little fellow, a tiny goldfinch, moved from branch to branch and tree to tree. Since it was early spring, there were no leaves on the trees. It was much harder to hide. After a while, he even let me take a few steps and move in closer. Taken in the park in Chicago.
