As I have said time and again, most amazing photos are not planned. After a day-long boat trip in the Konigsee and the Obersee, we got back to Schonau with the sun setting behind the mountains. And as my wife stood in amazement looking up to the mountains, standing a distance away I could see the amazing sunbeams lead down to her, in the process backliting the trees across the lake. What a magical sight it was. Without saying anything to Gia, I set my camera to click this image - all under 15s.
