Going Home
Here in Changtang, one of the most remote places on Earth, disconnected and unfriendly plateau, 9 months of heavy snow cut them off from all over the world, cold deserts and high-altitude plateau so that the main source of water is winter snow on the mountain. The Nomadic Changpa people rely on their animal for livelihoods, food, and survival. Shepherds have to walk 20-30 km every day to find grass with the Changthama - a special breed of goat that produces the best cashmere in the world.
