Weighing in at about 1000 pounds, Otis is no lightweight, and at over 20 years of age, he’s also no spring chicken. Otis is known for his patient hunting style. He conserves energy by staking out a fishing hole on the Brooks River (Katmai National Park) and staying there, unmoving, for hours, waiting as the perfect fish finds him.
