I was walking around looking for people to photograph on the street when I noticed this police officer made eye contact with me. I felt as if he wanted me to take his photograph, even though we had made no verbal contact. I decided to approach and take my chance with the moment without saying anything. He looked away with his eyes without moving his body and head, however, open and calm in front of the camera. After the shot we talked but he did not let on much about himself.
