Maria Island Blonde
A 'blonde' wombat from Maria island, Tasmania. A genetically distinct subspecies from the mainland wombats, the maria island population have much lighter fur, and are very cute. laying quietly at a distance, this individual approached me and ended up nibbling my lens.
