I spend my childhood at this part of the world( Kerala), I wanted to capture my perspective unlike the popular images of kerala backwaters. This photo was taken while i was in the vembanad lake( largest like in India), also famous for the snake boat races. I was waiting around the banks for 4 hours to capture the sunset unfortunately it wasn't visible due to haze. Image: f16 21mm 30 second exposure with ND10 filter . Edit: Reduced highlights and recovered shadows in post.
