This is Noel, the chief of the Machiguenga people -a native family that now resides near the Tambopata river of the Peruvian Amazon. Noel was kind enough to show us around and teach us the traditions and way of living of his family. We learned about the history of his community, played some local games, danced, played the flute, and even attempted to do some archery (!) Thank you Noel for allowing me to take your picture, and for the truly unforgettable experience!
