    Reported by:

As I climbed uphill to reach the next village during the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, panting and tired by the weight on my back, I stop to catch my breath and admire the views, I spot the young Nepalese girl sitting all by herself at the edge of the hill. The tiny human's presence against the giant Himalayas was striking, yet I could see the mountains knew her, and for her they were family.
