The fantail was keeping relatively close to me, hunting for insects that had taken flight in the late afternoon light. I set the camera to manual focus with a shutter speed of 2500, aperture at 8 and the Lens maxed at 300. I then tracked the fantail as best I could as it flittered all over the place taking photos.
