Standing on my back deck in Saratoga Springs, looking east across Utah Lake towards the Wasatch Mountains...the most incredible storm I've ever witnessed, and my first time capturing lightning. I had to do some quick thinking on what camera settings to choose, and I'm grateful I chose to go with a long exposure. Editing was a little tricky for me too, since again, this is my first time. Technical stuff aside...this was a powerful experience...frightening and exhilarating and special.
