    Corbeau(x) is the local name for the Black Vulture (Coragyps atratus). Often reviled, they are vital for the removal of carrion and can be found all over Trinidad. They are a protected species as they help prevent the spread of disease by consuming rotting carrion and fish. They are stately and gregarious and definitely part of our national landscape, I saw this pair perched late one afternoon silhouetted on high.
