Jim Lane, president of Men@Burks, a service ministry at Burks United Methodist Church, leans against a wrench he is using to loosen hardware that holds benches (called pews) securely to the floor. The men were removing pews to make room for a bucket lift to maneuver in the church's sanctuary. The lift was used to reach light bulbs that had burned out. Jim told me later that he had no idea that he had been photographed until he saw the video it was in. He's happy for me to share it here.
