The Canyon of Sorrows is the nickname for this gravel road in the countryside of Eastern Oregon. There are several abandoned homesteads in the narrow canyon in various states of disrepair. These abandoned farms illustrate just how difficult farming is the arid plains of the Columbia Plateau. This homestead is the oldest of the farms in this canyon.
