This close-to-home adventure is well known among locals. When you reach the dam after an easy hike, you can watch glassy water break into cloud-like shapes as it falls 91 meters over the Cleveland Dam. The Cleveland Dam holds back Capilano Lake which supplies approximately 40% of the Lower Mainland’s (surrounding Vancouver) fresh drinking water.
