    This is one of my favorite flowers. From seeing the interesting buds form and knowing only a few days to opening, the intricacies of the flower inside the petals, the fuchsia color and the shock of seeing such a beautiful creation coming from a succulent you would barely take a second look at. I walk by this every day and I have photos of these blossoms from 2012 and every year thereafter.
