    Edit Photo Details Eyes Only a Mother Could Love   #blackrat
    This mom was keeping an eye on me as she appeared to be protecting her babies. I didn't really notice while taking the image but she was looking me dead in the eye. These black rats made a home between some old wooden windows that had been stacked in our side yard. I thought they were palm rats as you can find them in the trees but I was informed they're just simple black rats;-)
