I was under surveillance, in my own yard, by a winged-spy today. While tending to my yard, this large hawk sat perched in my tree for nearly 4 hours, unbothered by my presence. It also killed a rival bird while I worked, leaving its victim on the ground beneath the tree, as a warning to other passers-by.
