This picture was taken during the "Taquara Ritual" which is the party were a becoming woman is introduce to the tribe after months of reclusion during the adolescence showing that she is ready to the life and woman activities. All woman that had pass trough this process also have her body painted to follow and celebrate the "new woman" in the village.
