This was taken our second to last day in Rome. The wife and I were on the rooftop of our B&B looking out over the city when I noticed this plant sitting on the roof top. I was immediately drawn to how the light created the various abstract tones and thought it would make a great black and white composition. Thus I got as close as I could to fill the screen, snapped, and later converted to B&W.
