I always try to visit local markets when I travel and took the opportunity to visit the large Mina Fish Market in Abu Dhabi in the UAE, where shoppers face a difficult choice when confronted with the large variety of fresh seafood brought in daily from the Persian Gulf. In this image a man in traditional UAE attire inspects the daily catch. He is wearing a thobe (locally called dish-dash, a long white robe) with a keffiyeh (checked headscarf, also call ghutra) and igal (black cord).
