Ha'penny Bridge Dublin by Sunset
The Ha'Penny Bridge in Dublin is one of the most recognizable sights. Build in 1816 over the river Liffey it opened to offer passage to everyone willing to pay a ha'penny (half pence). Thus, the name today. Living a while already in Dublin, I always wanted to take a photo of it at sunset, but the season has to be right for the sun to set over the bridge. The first months of the year work very well and finally a day come at which we had a promising weather forecast where this photo was taken
