    I stumbled upon this by accident while waiting happily for Beach Combers in Crystal Cove a favorite place to visit. Nearly stepping on this, I was enchanted by the thriving plant half buried in the hot sand, seeming to be nonplussed. Ultimate survival and a lesson for us all to always shine.
