Memorial Day is a remembrance of those soldiers who have risked their lives to defend and fight for our nation. Being in Washington DC on Memorial Day Weekend, I saw it was only fit that I visit the Korean War Memorial, a memorial that commemorates those (American or Korean) soldiers who have died in battle. Seeing this powerful engraving and the wreaths for Memorial Day, I took this picture.
