I woke up very early and drove to Deadvlei to be among the first visitors and to avoid masses. I was very lucky and spent an hour in that magical valley alone with my girlfriend. I had the chance to observe the sun painting surrounding dunes and the valley itself. On the way back from the valley I looked back and saw this scene. The sun was still relatively low over the horizon so it rendered beautiful shapes of dunes and people like ants slowly walking to the skies.
