This is the main entrance to the now re-modelled Sygun Copper Mines which is located in the Snowdonia National Park, Wales. As you are about to enter the mine, you cant help feel but scared as you enter pitch darkness. The mine is big, but only a very small section of it is open to the public today as part of a tourist attraction. The paid tour is full of info which talks about how difficult the work conditions were, how little were the miners paid and how most of them died early.
